It was in 1995 that [Maojia] trademark made its trademark registration at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. As seek to give full play to the brand advantage of [Maojia] trademark, better develop the foreign operations of [Maojia Restaurant], and make greater contribution to socialist economical development, the founding of Shaoshan Maojia Restaurant Development Co., Ltd. was proclaimed in June 1999 under the assistance and guidance of industrial and commercial administration to deal with [Maojia] trademark usage license consulting and other business, and specify how to develop and manage franchise chain stores. The founding of Shaoshan Maojia Restaurant Development Co., Ltd. is not only a new step of [Maojia Restaurant] cause but also a new development opportunity. Maojia Restaurant was incorporated a member unit of China Cuisine Association, was awarded as [China Famous Restaurant], [top 100 Chinese restaurant enterprises in 2003] and [National Green Catering Enterprise] in succession. With its rapid development and expansion, [Shaoshan Maojia Restaurant Development Co., Ltd.] was renamed as [Hunan Shaoshan Maojia Restaurant Development Co., Ltd. ] in May 2009 officially.

The decoration layout style of balconies named after memorial places of revolution where Chairman Mao lived and fought ever, not only had some adjustment on details based on keeping the decoration culture of the Maos, composed of the rural feeling tone of Shaoshan Hall, the beautiful sunrise of Jinggang Mountains, the hardness with softness of Anyuan Hall, the quietness and peace of Zunyi Hall, the plain and elegance of Yan'an Hall......and the culture propaganda supplies, food utensils, working clothes with unified identity.
